Submit to Present Your Research at DEGS 2025
February 13, 2025
The Office of Graduate Studies, in partnership with the Graduate Student Association, will host the ninth annual Drexel Emerging Graduate Scholars (DEGS) Conference, a free, homegrown University-wide conference highlighting Drexel's graduate and professional student research, Wednesday, May 7 & Thursday, May 8.
The DEGS Conference provides opportunities for graduate and professional students at all levels of study, stages of research, and across disciplines to showcase their work to the greater Drexel community, engage in professional development, network, and compete for monetary awards. The conference will take place at the Bossone Research Enterprise Center (3126 Market Street) with some opportunities for virtual engagement. All are welcome to attend the conference!
All Drexel graduate and professional students are encouraged to submit abstracts for posters, orals, or to compete in Drexel’s official Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition by Monday, March 31. Please review the submission and presentations guidelines, including Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), on the conference website prior to submitting your abstract. If you have any questions, please contact the the Office of Graduate Studies at graduatecollege@drexel.edu.
We are also in need of general volunteers to help set up the day prior (May 6) and during the conference (May 7 & 8) to help with setup, check-in, distribution of materials, directing individuals and providing instructions. Sign up here and thank you in advance!
